Where does the time go?

The last couple of weeks around here have been crazy. Last week I think every night of the week we were in Eau Claire doing something or at church completing projects down there. Then on the weekend when you think I could get so much done Saturday was completely gone as helped dad in the morning butcher 11 pigs and in the afternoon then was back down at church for another youth event. I was very disappointed that only three girls showed, but guess when there is a basketball tourney going on for the 7th and 8th grade boys that their time is directed elsewhere. I just cannot believe how busy these kids are and so darn young at that. Then Sunday went to church and and the girls had Sunday School and then once again we ended up running to Eau Claire. I wanted it to be a short trip, but it ended up that we did not get home until after 4, so there went my day of cleaning and laundry AGAIN! We are having Christmas on Myk's side of the family this weekend and my house is totally trashed. Last night I made a goal of at least cutting wood with the chainsaw outside (as we were almost out for the woodstove again) and getting some laundry folded. So got done with work at 2 p.m. and cut wood until almost 5 and got a huge pile ready to be burnt, so felt good about that at least.

I love working from home cause I can be doing laundry all day long, but when it comes to the folding of the laundry it seems to never get done. I have baskets and baskets of laundry sitting around that needs to be folded. So last night at 8:45 I started folding laundry and folded laundry until almost 10 o'clock, but I think Myk and I got all the baskets folded and put away, BUT now today did another three loads, so once again have baskets of clothes to be folded.....Thanks to my dear husband he helped out immensely last night and kind of helped with the laundry burden. Anyone know of a cleaning fairy?

I have so many goals for 2008, so hoping that as soon as the holidays are over I can start implementing these into my life and my kids' lives and make my house and life less chaotic and cleaner. WISH ME LUCK!

Congrats on getting the laundry all folded and put away. My family is waiting for me to learn how to do that, too. Yuck.
