If my husband dies because he choked on a turkey caller, I will definitely fess up that I shoved it down his throat. LOL! My husband has decided that he is going to go turkey hunting with the new bow that he purchased, but has not received yet. Because he is so SHORT, he had to specially order his bow and they told him it would take two to three weeks to get it in and he has been chomping at the bit for these last few weeks waiting for the long-awaited phone call. Brock, Scott (our friend), and I have been having a great time razing Myk that his bow is not in yet. It is a riot!
Well, Myk has decided that he should learn how to call a turkey and I am so tired of his practicing. I have now forbid him from the house in practicing cause he is driving me crazy, but yet when we walk outside even to go from the house to the truck, he has that stupid mouth piece in and he is so called practicing. The other day I was in his truck and I turned up the radio and lo-and-behold there was a stupid CD playing that was a self-help on the proper way and techniques how to call in a turkey. OH MY LORD!!!!!! He is crazy and he is taking me to insanity with all this! LOL

Ok...just to clarify things...my draw is a 27....that's all I am going to say...I'll let her look that one up to see if it's short or not :o)
Secondly, I've got the most sexy ass turkey call that I'll get all the turkeys to come running!! Course until they find out I'm using the "Old Raspy Hen" call.....
Well I hope my wife understands the dedication I am putting into this since she whole heartedly is supporting me in a sport that I would have never thought of trying 10 years ago...That's why I love our relationship...we support each other in every interest - even though we may have to suffer through it a bit..."imagine me practicing my turkey call here now"
Love ya!
Myk
Okay, I am not going to lie....I am whole-heartedly supporting him in this and I think it is great that he is getting in to the sport of hunting and bringing home some meat for our table, but if I would have known that his "practicing" was going to take me in to a state of insanity and I dream at night or turkeys and hear turkeys calling all night, I might have thought differently about it! LMAO!
Little does she know that I do a few little turkey calls when she falls fast asleep!! LMAO!
Why does that last comment of his not surprise me one bit? Pretty soon he is going to have turkey calls coming out of his a@@@@ because I am going to shove one up there.... LOL!
so if you do this (shove it...) then when he "toots" you're going to have a bunch of turkeys flocking into your yard. are you really ready for this? i think you would probably prefer that he just does it occasionally, when he's awake and whatnot... this could get very awkward! lol! (the upside, he'll never be able to blame "the dog" again.)
